A must-try highlight is their dim sum selection, where delicate bites such as Pork Vegs Bean Curd Rolls, Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf, and Salted Egg Buns showcase the skilled craftsmanship behind traditional Cantonese favorites. Diners have noted that while dim sum carts operate on a schedule that can vary, the paper menu offers a comprehensive alternative, ensuring you won’t miss out on these exquisite delicacies.

The Crab Roe Fried Rice and Jumbo Shrimp with Crispy Walnuts add elegant textures, enticing with their harmonious blend of nutty crunch and savory sweetness.
Vegetarian options aren’t forgotten here—dishes like Chinese Broccoli with Chinese Sausage in Ginger Sauce and Sauteed Asparagus with Mixed Mushrooms bring brightness and earthiness to the table, appealing to a variety of palates and dietary preferences. Meat lovers can savor robust offerings such as Beef Cubes with Pineapple, New Zealand Lamb Chop, and the Deep Braised Beef Ribs with Eggplant, dishes that present hearty, comforting flavors with a sophisticated twist.
Customer feedback consistently praises Qin Dynasty’s unwavering commitment to authenticity and quality. One devoted patron fondly described it as “one of my New Jersey favorite restaurants” because of its “extremely delicious and high quality Chinese food” spanning seafood, vegetarian, meat, and noodle options. Many appreciate the generous portion sizes and transparency of seeing freshly prepared dishes on display, a refreshing departure from generic photos, allowing guests to truly anticipate the meal.
The service is another highlight — friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable staff ensure your dining experience flows smoothly, whether you arrive for a casual lunch or a more leisurely dinner. As one reviewer noted, the combination of prompt service and extensive choices left them happily satisfied, with leftovers to enjoy for days. The restaurant's BYOB policy also adds a nice touch for those who want to pair their meal with a favorite wine or beverage.
While some menu items, particularly the prized Peking Duck, may come at a premium price, many guests feel the taste, quality, and portion sizes justify the investment. The restaurant’s nuanced flavors—from the comforting red bean soup to the crispy chicken wings and the delicate congee—invite diners to savor each bite and explore the complexity of Cantonese cuisine beyond the familiar.

Came for the dim sum with my husband and father. We were seated immediately when we arrived. We arrived at around 2:45pm on a Saturday and was told dim sum carts stop at around 2:00. I also heard some else say they stop around 1:30 so I'm not exactly sure. We ended up choosing our dim sum items from a paper menu which was fine but just be aware of the timing if you want the fully Cantonese style cart. Staff was not the most enthusiastic but helpful and attentive. Food came out pretty quickly. Everything we ordered tasted good. Some favorites were the pork steamed buns, custard bun, green sesame ball, and pork soup dumplings. One of our items never came out so we waited a little bit until we finally asked about it. Someone came over and just crossed it off our bill so I guess they ran out. This was our second time dining here. My recommendation is to arrive earlier the first visit to enjoy the full cart experience but it does get crowded at prime time so be prepared to wait a little or be seated with others.
Qin is one of my New Jersey favorite restaurants. Authentic, extremely delicious and high quality Chinese food ???????? with a large variety of options: Seafood, Vegetarian, Meat, Noodles you name it, you will find it ⭐ Staff is friendly and efficient This restaurant is extremely good, it never disappoint I highly recommend it! PS - It’s also BYOB
I have been here before and was pleased with the food and service. It was just as good this time. Fast service and so many food choices for any diet. Most of the food is already prepared. You see what it really looks like instead of pictures. Serving sizes always leaves something to take home. In addition to Thanksgiving dinner I had lunch for two days. Prices are reasonable.
Was looking for a good authentic Chinese food in this part of Jersey, and this place clearly delivered. Incredible minced beef soup to start. Then had the fried rice, braised duck with mixed vegetables, and pan-fried flounder. Delicious. The service was good and attentive, though quite pricey, especially the duck ( $38), and there wasn't much meat, just more vegetables. But the flounder was worth it, $32.95.
Qin Dynasty is our go-to spot for authentic Cantonese food. Whether we’re craving dim sum or a full seafood dinner, this place never disappoints. The ginger scallion lobster noodles are a must-try—flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also love their casseroles, beef ho fun, and Peking pork. Everything is consistently delicious and served fresh.
Our favorite restaurant for "push cart dimsum" dimsum served using pushcarts only available on weekends, but dimsum can be ordered also during the week during lunch & dinner.Be prepared for a long wait during Sundays, less wait time for seating on Saturdays. During week days they got lunch special $35 for 4 items.Choice of 1 soup & 3 dishes on specified menu. The serving is way more than enough for 2 people, that we often times take the leftovers home.My favorite soup is chicken corn,I love the salt pepper fish fillet, grouper with squash & black fungus, beef with chinese broccoli,Peking porkchop. So many choices in the $35 lunch package menu.
